7th Ordinary Session of the World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST)

7th Ordinary Session of the World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST) was organized in Doha, Qatar from 9 to 12 October 2011.

On the third day of the meeting, a Round table session on “Gender, Science & Technology: Ethical Perspectives” was held. The presentation of Dr Hebe Vessuri, COMEST member provides an excellent overview of the ethical issues related to science and technology and gender, key questions to address in thinking gender and science, and its relation to work of COMEST.

These questions can be addressed to any scientific institutions and scientific community.

Is there a particular response from the Arab region on these issues?
